Your information at SiteWharf

This notice explains what happens when you visit our website or introduce your business.

When you send an introduction

We use the contact details, business information and preferences you choose to share to respond to your inquiry, understand your business and explore possible website design directions. Sending an introduction does not purchase a website or authorize payment.

Formspree processes the submission and delivers a notification to SiteWharf's email inbox. It may process technical information needed to deliver the form and prevent abuse. Read Formspree's privacy policy for its handling of information.

Please share business information only. We do not ask for social-media, domain or other account passwords, payment information or identity documents.

Your unfinished answers

The Guided Introduction saves an unfinished draft, including the contact details you enter, in this browser tab so an accidental reload need not lose your work. The draft expires after 24 hours, checked when the form reads it. Browser session restoration can reopen a tab with its saved information.

Draft answers are not sent to SiteWharf until you submit. Successful submission clears the saved draft. Start over asks before clearing meaningful answers. Files and upload credentials are not saved in drafts. On a shared device, clear your draft when you finish. If your browser prevents saving, the form explains that recovery is unavailable.

Photos and logos

Photo and file sharing is deferred for this public launch. You can inquire without files, and we can discuss a suitable way to share business images later. Please do not post private download links or account credentials in the form. We will confirm permission before publishing any images on a website.

Optional usage information

Optional introduction analytics are not enabled for this public launch. When configured, the introduction asks before sending usage events and respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Declining measurement never prevents an inquiry.

The event design uses generic steps, errors and device/source categories, not your answers, name, email, business links, filenames or photographs. The optional analytics identifier is separate from your inquiry and from the essential answer draft.

The website hosting and form providers may process request information such as IP addresses, browser information and access times to deliver and protect their services.

Inquiry records and questions

Submitted inquiries and related messages can remain in Formspree and SiteWharf's email records until removed; the browser draft's 24-hour expiry does not delete those records. If you become a client, any further project information and handling arrangements will be discussed separately.

You can ask about information you have shared or request a correction or removal. Please identify the inquiry using its business name and contact email rather than sending passwords or identity documents.
